This policy explains the cookie and browser storage used by InStock Tracker, operated by DK825, LLC, at https://instocktracker.com/. It's part of our Privacy policy.
The short version: if you don't sign in, we set no cookies at all. If you sign in, we set one cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and there are no ad pixels or third-party tags on our pages.
1. Essential cookie (only when you sign in)

The site can't keep you signed in without it, so it doesn't need your consent. Signing out deletes it.
2. Preferences kept in your browser (local storage)
These stay on your device. They are never sent to us as cookies, and you can delete them at any time.

3. Push notifications
If you turn on push notifications, your browser registers a small background script (a "service worker") from our site so it can show alerts even when the page is closed. Your browser's push service holds the registration. You can turn it off in your browser's site settings at any time.
4. Services that run in your browser
- Human check. When you sign in or create an alert, a human check from our network provider runs in your browser to stop bots. It is used only for that check, under that provider's own privacy terms.
- Map tiles. The store map loads its images directly from TomTom, credited on the map, so TomTom receives your IP address and the map area you view. We don't set any cookie for it.
- Payments. Checkout happens on Stripe's own payment page, which uses its own cookies under Stripe's privacy policy.
We don't use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta, TikTok or any other advertising or analytics tag.
5. Your choices
- Sign out to delete the
sidcookie. - Clear site data in your browser settings to delete the cookie and everything in local and session storage. You'll be signed out and your saved search will reset; your alerts themselves stay safe in your account.
- Block cookies for our site in your browser. You can still check stock, but you won't be able to sign in or manage alerts.
Because we don't use advertising or tracking cookies, there's nothing to opt out of, and we don't show a cookie banner.
6. Changes and contact
