Refund policy
Last updated
Effective date: November 2, 2026
This policy applies to InStock Tracker, operated by DK825, LLC, based in Illinois, United States, at https://instocktracker.com/. Read it together with our Terms of service.
1. One-time passes
Plus costs $7.99 for 30 days and Pro costs $19.99 for 30 days, before any taxes or checkout discounts. Each purchase is a one-time payment. Passes never renew automatically. Buying the same plan again adds 30 days. Free costs nothing, so there's nothing to refund.
Stripe processes payments and refunds, and a refund always goes back to the original card or wallet. We never see or store your full card number.
2. Automatic prorated refund before your first alert
Use the Cancel plan button on your plan in Pricing to cancel your pass and automatically get a prorated refund of the unused days, until the first stock alert is sent to you in your current paid period. An eligible cancellation needs no review and no email.
For a standard 30-day pass:
Refund = unused days × (price paid ÷ 30)
For example, cancelling a $7.99 Plus pass with 20 unused days refunds about $5.33. The calculation uses the price you actually paid, including any discount.
Cancelling ends the paid plan straight away and stops alerts. Your alerts stay saved. My alerts shows every stock alert we sent and when.
Refunds usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
3. After the first alert is sent
Once at least one stock alert has been sent in your current paid period, that period isn't refundable under the ordinary cancellation policy. Your pass runs until its end date.
Eligibility depends on sending, not on whether the alert was received, opened or clicked, or whether you bought the product. An alert can be delayed or fail to reach you, and stock can sell out before you act. Test messages, billing messages, sign-in codes and other non-stock messages don't count as stock alerts.
Every alert on another channel is also emailed to you as a dated copy with a reference number; an alert and its email copy count as one alert. Pausing or deleting an alert doesn't change whether it was sent.
An alert from an earlier paid period doesn't on its own remove eligibility in a later paid period. If you think the record of sent alerts is wrong, contact [email protected].
4. Upgrades and switching plans
Plus to Pro. Unused Plus time is credited at the Plus price; you pay the difference, and the Pro pass runs 30 days from the upgrade. For example, 27 unused Plus days give a credit of about $7.19. If the credit is more than the Pro price, checkout charges Stripe's $0.50 minimum and turns the rest of the credit into extra Pro days. Checkout shows the amount and the new end date before you confirm.
Pro to Plus. Switching is always allowed, however many alerts have been sent. There is no charge and no cash refund for switching. Unused Pro time becomes Plus time at the ratio of the plan prices: at current prices, 10 unused Pro days become about 25 Plus days. You confirm the conversion before switching.
Refunded upgrades. If an upgrade payment is refunded, the plan returns to Plus until the date the original Plus pass would have ended.
5. Duplicate purchases and other exceptions
If you buy the same pass twice by mistake, email us within seven days of the second payment for a full refund of the extra purchase.
The first-alert rule doesn't override refunds for billing errors, unauthorized payments where a refund is required, or other remedies required by law.
If we permanently discontinue the paid Service, we'll refund unused paid time. Other refund commitments in our Terms, including those for material service changes or termination by us, also still apply.
If we close an account for a material breach of our Terms, the remaining time isn't refundable, subject to applicable law. Deleting your own account ends any remaining paid time, so use Cancel plan first if you're eligible for a refund.
6. Help with refunds
For anything Cancel plan doesn't handle, email [email protected] from the address on your account. Include the payment date, the amount, any transaction reference and the reason for your request. Never send passwords or full card numbers.
We usually reply within 1 to 2 business days. Please contact us promptly about a suspected billing error so we can fix it quickly; this doesn't limit your right to dispute a charge.
7. Your legal rights
InStock Tracker is for US users. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer protections, withdrawal rights or other rights that can't be waived under applicable law, including protections that may apply to consumers elsewhere. Applicable law prevails over any inconsistent wording here.
